Sit comfortably, place the stethoscope in your ears and hold the diaphragm in your hands. The levels of the voice and examples have been adjusted so that, when the volume is reduced to the point at which the explanations can still be clearly understood, the examples should sound as though the stethoscope were in contact with the patient’s chest.
Listening sessions should not be excessively long. Do not change the needle until the corresponding record or band has finished.
