Caesar 1987’s Bardo Thos Grol (a soundtrack to the Tibetan Book of the Dead) is undoubtedly a special record; it is one of the best works of their first phase and, in my opinion, their masterpiece. Musically, the settings (compared to the previous cassettes) are calm and meditative, with an impressive use of traditional instruments from Tibet and Nepal.
