One Hour As Peyote

One Hour As Peyote is a bioelectrical sound work by Michael Allen Z. Prime, made from recordings of the electrical activity of a specimen of Lophophora williamsii. Originally issued as a limited CD-R in 2005 and remastered in 2020, the album translates the living reactions of the peyote cactus into an austere electroacoustic form, where plant signal, duration and altered perception become a strange ritual of non-human listening.
