Satan

He is something else: the ghost of an ancient god, a faceless creature, wandering dark places, fed by black magic.

“Satan is a vision. Satan is an eternal fall.
Cast out of heaven, he is no longer Lucifer, God’s favourite.
He is an empty soul, devoured by despair and wrath.
He is something else: the ghost of an ancient god, a faceless creature, wandering dark places, fed by black magic.
Inspired by Gustave Dore’s engravings for Milton’s Paradise Lost, these tracks were composed to portray the rawness and complexity of the loneliness, this fierce loneliness in Hell.

« They will all be left to the mountain birds of prey and to the wild animals; the birds will feed on them all summer, the wild animals all winter. »
Book of Isaiah 18, 6
